Newmarket Community Education Partnership (NCEP) originated in 2004 at a kitchen table and was inspired by a series of conversations among local parents who wished to augment the social, academic, and enrichment opportunities for local youth, paying close attention to kids who have limited access to programs that are already offered in the academic and recreational settings in Newmarket, NH.

The FRIENDS ProjectThe FRIENDS Project
The FRIENDS Project endeavors to combat the social isolation that many people with disabilities experience. FRIENDS does this through an integrated approach that promotes inclusion practices. While keeping inclusion practices in the forefront, FRIENDS also recognizes, encourages and promotes a variety of relationships in many settings. FRIENDS believes that accessible activities that address the needs of people with disabilities need to be facilitated in order for more choices to be available.

Danny's TeamDanny's Team
Located in New Hampshire, Danny's Team is an independent, nonprofit organization intentionally set up to be free of restricting red tape and unhampered in its appropriation of funds to organizations or individuals. Their mission is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing resources for service projects, equipment and scholarships.

1 in 6 adults and almost 1 in 10 children suffer from a diagnosable mental illness. Yet, for many, the stigma associated with the illness, can be as great a challenge as the disease itself. This is where the misconceptions stop. This is where bias comes to an end. This is where we change lives. Because this is where we Bring Change 2 Mind.

For three decades, NAMI has established itself as the most formidable grassroots mental health advocacy organization in the country. Dedication, steadfast commitment and unceasing belief in NAMI's mission by grassroots advocates have produced profound changes. NAMI is able to build on its success and continue to focus on three cornerstones of activity that offer hope, reform, and health to our American community: Awareness, Education, and Advocacy.

Active MindsACTIVE MINDS
Active Minds is the only organization working to utilize the student voice to change the conversation about mental health on college campuses. Through campus-wide events and national programs, Active Minds aims to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health issues, and create a comfortable environment for an open conversation about mental health issues on campuses throughout North America.

Minds On The EdgeMINDS ON THE EDGE
Facing Mental Illness is a multi-platform media project that explores severe mental illness in America. The centerpiece of the project is a television program airing on PBS stations in October 2009. The goal is to advance consensus about how to improve the kinds of support and treatment available for people with mental illness. MINDS ON THE EDGE provides a glimpse of innovative solutions that are currently being implemented across the country.
